“Catch All” series Tarpon fishing hooks are used by guides and recreational Tarpon fisherman. This octopus J hook is designed to catch Tarpon. Vanguard Wolfe Tarpon hooks were procured by style among the guide Community many years ago. As the Mustad 7766 tarpon hook took hold of the market, it was never sharp enough nor shaped right out of the box. Vanguard Wolfe hooks come “ready to fish” out of the package.

The Vanguard Wolfe “Catch-All” hooks also known as Octopus hooks and Kahle style hooks, are high carbon and forged, premium grade fishing hooks. These types of hooks have been a staple in the inshore and offshore fishing world for decades now and if you target game fish species like Trout, Snook and Flounder, Snapper, Grouper and others you’ve probably used all these styles of hooks, and likely still do.
