There are different rigs for different types of deep dropping. You may only need a single light on your rig, or multiple lights to light it up like a runway and guide the fish to your bait.
When searching for a deep drop light, brightness and longevity are the two major factors in the make-up of a quality light. Vanguard Wolfe’s “Bite Light” is a super bright LED light that is water activated. Once the light enters the water, it will turn on and start flashing until it is removed from the water. Battery life is another important quality in the composition of a deep drop light. Our lights have been tested in real life environments and proven to last for 400+ hours of continuous circuit connection. To turn the light off, simply spritz it with fresh water to remove the salt and then towel dry to break the connection. Our lights are all water tight with NON Removable batteries for better water proofing. It is likely that you will lose this light due to a break away or cut-off than the batteries actually failing. Each light is outfitted with a wire loop so that you can use fishing floss or a rubber band to attach it to your deep drop rig.
