The hot rubber dipped "Code Red" Hook is a custom stainless steel Swordfish and Tuna fishing hook designed to hold large baits and land very large fish up to 1200 pounds including Swordfish, Tuna, Sharks, Giant Grouper, etc. The Code Red hooks go through a special Norwegian hot rubber dip process to make bait rigging a breeze and the blood red color hides the hook in deep water. Like all our hooks, the "Code Red" Big Game commercial grade stainless steel hooks go through a special hardening process as well. Even with stainless hooks, our Norwegian hardening process is a well kept secret and we implement this process without compromising the integrity and strength of our hooks. This process makes our hooks up to 20% stronger than traditionally made hooks. We offer the Gladiator stainless J hook in four sizes, 9/0, 10/0, 11/0 & 12/0.
